A WONDERER WHO WANDERS
'There are two ways of spreading light: to be the candle or the mirror that reflects it' - Edith Wharton.
As a wanderer who left university in order to take my education into my own hands by combining online courses with practical travel experiences, I quickly learned that it would be in relationship and connection that I would find the answers to my wonderings. Read more about my education project here.
What was then just a passion for visual storytelling became an opportunity of connecting, understanding and diving deep into other's realities and from there document and share inspiring stories I could experience and grow from myself. To recognise myself in the other and reflect back what I had discover.
The content which results of these encounters, or immersions as I like to call them, is enquiring, sincere, intimate and profound. It arises out of experience and connection. To you, it means seeing yourself through and having your message transmitted by someone who is eager to go beyond the surface to understand the essence of your universe. To me, it is about recognising myself in you. It's about wandering home.
Yet above all it is an opportunity to bring light into that which can sometimes not be seen. To expose questions which can sometimes not be asked. To show depth where it can sometimes not be found. And to celebrate beauty when it can sometimes not be understood.
On thoughts, beliefs, distractions and mind.
On sharing awareness.
On the filters that separate us from reality.
On the smile of the child, on the life of the homeless.
On the subtle possibilities of visualisation.
On being able to see.
On beauty and on agony.
On the sunset, on that which is,
on that which goes beyond.
